In the midst of seeking new direction and drawing closer to God, He spoke to me about "being genuine". Christianity is not a form of faking ourselves to behave or pretend to be good people and i don't want myself to be in that state!
Being genuine simply is by being yourself! Everyone is God's unique creation, with gifts and talents. So unique and special that no one else in this world can ever replace the things God has for your life.
i was reading the book of 52 teachings of a successfully cell. Part of it wrote, "Let your faith in God, love for Jesus, and passion for the lost be reflected in your life." Thus, being yourself should be a pleasant and joyful thing to do. We shouldn't fake our lives to be a holier "someone". It should not bring burden bcoz we're not trying to be someone else, but simply ourselves!!
Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well"
So be genuine. Truly know it in yourself that God created you the way you're to be. No point bluffing others by being who you're not. Stop bluffing yourself by bluffing others. Be the one that God wants you to be and know it full well.
Only by drawing close to God and be totally dependent on Him then you will know who and what you're suppose to be. It's never too late to be genuine, so start being truthful and honest. Be genuine in Christ! =)
