oh Lord.. help me.. simply my heart is not focus on the things i am supposed to do.. am i too occupied with the things around me? i must really learn to come to You.. to rest in You..

God, why these few days temptations seems to be more powerful than before? are You upgrading me? testing me? oh Father, please give me what i can bear.. You have sustained me for many times.. please don't let me fail this time..

1 Corinthians10:13
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

i shall claim Your words, God..
Jesus, remind me of Your wonderful work at the cross
Holy Spirit, guide me to capture the spirit in the verse in my life..

Allow Me to Come

Yup Father here i am.. once again You have sustained me from temptation once again.. i praise You Lord for You are the pure and holy King..

God, i need to admit i am weak in my ways.. i get angry easily, disappointed easily and i really cannot understand myself why am not able to stand firm for You in my ways at times.. there are really so many flaws in me.. God, it's not so easy to walk along side with You for You are holy and pure.. but.. PLEASE keep me going.. Please giving me that helping hand to strengthen and seal every good work in me..

Father, come and allow me to be with You.. for You are King, You do mighty wonders Lord.. satisfy my soul and make me grow.. let me make every effort to enter Rest! allow me to see the consequences of my sins and have deep understanding of your works.. Lord, i dun want reading be a routine and things about You be only head knowledge.. Let Your unfailing words be marked in my heart.. let them become principles and convictions that governs my life for You..

Lord, let me take ownership of this wonderful privilege! let me be disciplined! let me have self-control! let me have breakthroughs! God, let me encounter You everyday, every moment of my life... for You are God, You do mighty wonders Lord!! there's no one else like You..

40days of Fast!

Ah pa Father in Heaven..

Oh, teach me to rember your kindness.. teach me to go in your way.. as i fast for these 40days.. bring me a journey of joy with You please.. when i am hungry, teach me to pray and speak of the motive of this fast.. God i want to be closer to You.. i want to love You more.. i know i need You in my life.. so come to me Father as i come to You..

Give me my daily bread Ah pa Father.. as i read and do my quiet time with You, let me know You're there.. when i am struggling with troubles, let me know You're beside me.. when i am double minded, let me know Your way and give me strength to move in Your way..

Today's Psalm51:12
"....and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."

Father, grant me a willing spirit to follow You.. not let me complain so i can be kept blameless before Your sight.. i thank You Jesus.. bcoz through You then i will have life.. i thank You Holy Spirit to keep my sight on God always.. allow me to come to You Father.. don't forsake me.. i need You.. teach me to put You 1st above everything..

My True Identity

God, i am so sorry for the wrong things i did in the past.. i fallen short from Your standards in so many ways. Teach me Lord..! Guide me Lord..! hear my true desire in my heart saying i want to follow You for the rest of my life and turn away from me at the time when i became disobedient, going my own ways. in all circumstances, God, let You be in my presence always! Answer me when i call to You, O my righteous God..

i believe You have created me in a special way, planned my life in the unique way and You made me Alvin the only one, that no one can replace what You made me to do for Your purpose! Lord, come close to me! i want an encounter with You every now and then..

Many times, temptations of lust, pride, laziness, greed, disobedience and many many more comes.. Father, You are always there beside me.. How much i seek after You yet i go my own ways, not listening to Your promptings and warnings. But So MANY times, You patiently wait upon for me to turn back to You. Thank You God!

Yes, i am fear of You Lord.. i became timid and began to run away from temptations and dare not face it and fight it.. But it's You Lord are the one who sustains me everyday.. I want to be disciplined for You, honour You! You have blessed me so much..

i have been working and giving onto You God.. i have fought my daily temptations and You have helped me! i thank You!

i was once reminded about Your words to Jesus when He got baptised in Matt3:17:
"...This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
Oh understanding Your Heart, God loves everyone! i thank You for Your unfailing Love!

I am a Son of Yours.. the simple words You said in this verse is so direct and clear! My identity and purpose lies on You alone.. You're my vindicator! i want to be humble and submissive.. Father, grant me the spirit of meekness! allow me to dwell upon You everyday of my life! remind me everyday of your Goodness that i am a son of Yours.. Indeed, a son will want to know and do the Father's business and a slave will only do what is told.. God, let my identity be secure in You always.. Hold me tight, Do me right! as my life, i delicate to You for i know it's You who i really belong to..
