Thank Lord for Your words..Also, i got to thank my good G12 bro Ej for sharing this words during cell group. He's a great man of great faith. Who am i today, certainly much credit has to go to him. A man of actions for God. He's one of my inspirations and one of the top role models i always follow closely with.
1Thessalonians5:16-18
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
One of the attitude that i surely know God wants in me and all His people is be Joyful!!
Does it mean that when we received Christ, there will be zero problem in our lives? Answer is No!
The fact is there will always be problems in our lives whether you like it anot. However, after having God in my life, i learned to see how my problems can be a blessing from God and be joyful always. My conviction is God always wants us to be happy and blessed, Devil always wants us to be stressed, emo, depressed and feel negative about ourselves.
God knows our struggle whenever we meet problems. Yes, He really knows and He wants to set us free. Only by choosing to follow His ways of living then we can attain the fullness in life!
Take a closer look at the verse above! God told us to be joyful always!!! Can you believe it? Not sometimes but ALWAYS!!! "Is it possible?" i was thinking when i 1st read this. My conclusion is that i choose to believe it's possible! Because God loves His people and if you love someone, you will always want that someone to be always happy.
After i began to believe, i don't just stop there. I follow His way of living by praying continually! Praying is like talking. A communication. Whether good things or bad things, i be totally truthful in wat i say to Him and the people around as i share and account. When i think or feel nasty things, i make sure i confess it and not let Devil have any foothold to it! When i am happy and good things are happening, i make sure i praise Him all the way!
The greatest challenge in a personal walk with God, which i think, is choosing to praise Him in all circumstances! Not during the good times, but also the bad times! That's why in verse 18 He said "in all circumstance." But many people will say "how can!!?" Let's me remind you that we are believing in a Supernatural God. It is when we choose to praise Him even in bad bad situations, then the supernatural things happen in our lives! God did mentioned we need strength to love Him, it not going to be easy to praise Him in bad times. But if you want to see the supernatural, you need to be supernatural and do what you have never done before!
Christianity is never a religion. It's a personal relationship with God. A supernatural walk with God. It's so unique that no one can teach unless you walk your own journey with God yourself.
Prayer:
Lord, i am glad that i met You. i thank You for nv give up hope on me. i will complain at times and even grumble but God, let me praise You in all circumstances and let the joy in me be made complete by You! Thank You so much! Love You Holy Spirit for speaking into me.. Must be You, my life will then be secured. =)

I am a conqueror and i choose not to be complacent!
John 8:29
"The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for i always do what pleases him."
If there's an exam upon 100 marks, by your own standard, you know that you can get 80marks out of it and have an A1 the 1st grade. You can be happy and just be at that state. But God doesn't want us to be complacent!! He wants us to have to work for that 100 marks! Go be the best that we can be in our lives.
Reflection:
Many times in life, i know i cannot make it by my own standard. i can feel stupid and meaningless serving in ministry, school and family while i am struggling with other things still. i can simply sit down and do nothing for anything. Everyday go out and just have my own fun, thinking i am full of life still. Be selfish and unappreciative to the people around me who helped me.
But God, i don't want my life to be like that. i know that isn't your plan for me and that's not my life that i really want to be! The best plans come from You! i want to best out of all things even if i need to work for it!
Jesus, let me really receive You into my heart that You're my saviour and role model in everything. When i tired and even want to give up, Lord please let me have that confidence in You that i know You will protect me and affirm me what i do for You is right. Please don't let me feel that i am alone. Let me live as a prince for i am a prince. i don't belong to a beggar's life for i am already redeemed by You.

VICTORY is already WON! We just need to RECOGNISE our IDENTITY!
During last week's cell, Ej never failed to punch in some true simple facts. This is my take back. It goes something like this:
"We receive Christ by faith! And once we received Christ, victory is already won! But there are many situations that often make us wallow in defeat, make us feel like losers and eat worms. So how do we link up or see ourselves that victory is already won once we receive Christ? We need to recognise our identity that we're the sons of God! If God is King, we're the princes!"
i was quite taken up with this point due to spiritual battlefield i fought for the past few days over the area of lust, ministry and self expectations. For the next few days, i kept on telling myself that i must really receive this sonship from God into my life. i must know that i really don't have to do anything which may put me into a slavery mode. For Jesus truly loves me, God's grace is sufficient for me and victory has been won!
Just after 2 days, God hit me once again to affirm me through Ps Melvyn's sermon on Sunday service. He said in his 3rd point sermon that when we stepped into light, it reflects our positions from slave to son. This is my take back:
"There are people who often goes in and out the defeat zone and victory zone. They can switch between slaves in sin and sons with God in quick moments. They often keep struggling and falling back into sins. This is because they are in confusion and do not recognise their identity in Christ."
My reflection:
i really thank God for always being kind and gracious to speak to me clearly everytime when i needed Him. For He really loves me as His son. Through any trials in life, i must really stand firm and know in my heart that the victory is already won because i am a son of God. If my God is for me, then who shall be against me! i walk by faith!
If any point i am discouraged, Jesus please take away any unwilling spirit in me that hinders me to do things that please You. Input the pure joy in me for You.
